HET HOOFD VAN FERDINAND CHEVAL

Het Hoofd van Ferdinand Cheval was made as a radio play by Dutch musician Spinvis and radiomaker Bente Hamel. It was based on the story of the French postman Ferdinand Cheval (1836 – 19 August, 1924), who spent 33 years of his life building Le Palais Idéal (the “Ideal Palace”) in Hauterives which is regarded as an extraordinary example of naïve art architecture.. For the post package including a dvd, the radio play was chopped into 18 parts and sent to 18 different artists. These artists have brought the radio play to life with film, animation etc. All those parts have been put together into a kaleidoscopic movie. I was responsible for part 3/18, about the instructions of the outfit of a postman.
