Zona Maco Art Fair 2011, is the most important art fair of Mexico. The Urban Genome Project is an archive of interviews designed by the publisher Joseph Grima, the artist Pedro Reyes and creative collective Pase Usted. To date this file has gathered more than 500 interviews with mayors, architects, activists and various cultural creators in order to identify “the code on which cities are written.” These statements are identified by specific categories by way of creating a toolbox, an index of best practices on governance and transformation of cities to use in global contexts.
