Had a talk today at the 12th edition of Pecha Kucha in Groningen and a spectacular location, the yet unfinished Tasmantoren. I used my 20×20 seconds to talks about one of the things that worked as a motivation as a designer, with as a red thread my dad. How his deafness, his daily routines and his stubbornness, my not graduating and my difficulty explaining what it is precisely do for a living (not because I can’t, but because it’s so diverse that it’s difficult to label it with just one description), brought me to work for mass media. It was a great afternoon with great people, a great high tea (the highest tea so far, at the 23rd floor) and nice talks.
