THE FUTURE OF RETAIL ON TRAIN STATIONS FOR NS


The Dutch Railways (NS) are one of the main sponsors of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. Close & Counter Special Agents executed three high-end business events based around the Fashion Week theme. They put industry leaders, politicians and conceptualists center stage to inspire the stakeholders of NS to move Dutch public transport into the fashionable future.

Close & Counter asked me to gIn my talk I gave a different view on the future of retail on train stations within the Wereldstation vision (see movie below). On how using knowledge from entirely different fields might help in creating time, and therefore peace of mind, to be open for using retail, without worrying to miss the train. And additionally some examples on how retail on train stations can be smarter and of more use for people living close to the stations as well.
