About project Dreamschool

Pablo Collada, director and founder of Camino Ciudadano — a company dedicated to establish links between Civil Society Organizations, Private Sector and young people, in order to generate new responsible citizens, and I had the privilege to do an informal talk at Universidad Metropolitana de Monterrey. And met again a bunch of great people.

Just returned from a visit to CEDIM, an applied design school in Monterrey. And I can only say that I was truly amazed. Housed in a brand new contemporary building in the valley, you will find a great active atmosphere. You could feel the activity happening, even though it was quite a quiet

LIFT was awesome. Led to a load of new contacts, quite impressive. Just after my talk, I had the mic removed and because the next speaker was already up, I found a place on the stairs, not wanting to interfere the audience too much.

One of the highlights of LIFT was looking at particles at the HLC in Geneva. And doing that together with Andy Mayer, who what I learned while having a fun conversation in the bus, was the founder of Yoomee. So, what is Yoomee?

LIFT made all the talks available as fancy two-screen presentations. So now you can decide to watch only the videos, or watch the slides of both at once. Nice.

Just returned from a mind blowing edition of LIFT in Geneva. It was a privilege to have been invited as a speaker to share the Project Dreamschool story there. And because of that, I met amazing people. If you have never been to LIFT, you should go the next edition. I shared the

I’m thrilled to announce that I will be speaking at LIFT11 in Geneva.
At LIFT11 I will share my story about Project Dreamschool that has a simple goal:)
Create the circumstances and situations where is the room and support where young people can develop themselves in

We’re extremely proud and happy of the reach we have with Project Dreamschool, the project went instant international since its conception, but even more seeing that it now also comes close. The project started from a knowledge sharing session to help create the best possible framework to build the new campus in Meppel upon, in

Project Dreamschool at PICNIC’10 was incredibly fruitful. Instead of a written summary of the event, which is quite a challenge, we have a full visual summary. Everything that has been talked about, thought of, etc. has been captured in these fabulous visuals by visual philosopher and story sketcher Dennis Luijer and

In one day at PICNIC ’10, we have developed creative and renewed solutions to realize a dream school. Visual thinkers joined the conversations and continuously sketched the solutions. With 150 people, coming from a global network of pioneering thinkers, visionaries and innovators, we made it happen. Thank you for joining us and PICNIC!

Just live, the temporary website for Project Dreamschool and the Dutch version as well. A simple website, where visitors are invited to share what their dream school is. Meanwhile we’re building the actual website.

Today we had a great session at Knowmads to lead to a subject they will be working on as an assignment. The new Dream School Foundation board was there (Roel, Ellen and myself), together with special guests Jorn Bartlema, Thieu Besselink and Itay Talgam. It was a true roller coaster ride

Today we had the privilege to have the second gathering for Project Dream School at the VIP Centre at Schiphol Airport with again a great group of people. Since the first meeting a lot has happened. A meeting to help Peter with his dream turned into a project with a lot
