My iTunes started auto-updating my TEDTalks half an hour ago, with the talk by Alain de Botton from TED Global in Oxford from a week ago. I instantly stopped with what I was doing to watch his talk and again really enjoyed it. He’s not only a great thinker, but also a great and witty storyteller. See for yourself.

I first virtually ‘met’ him via Monocle. Since the start of Monocle I’m a fan, and because of that also subscribed to their vodcasts. Alain de Botton is a frequent guest, contributor and subject there, so also have a look at the interviews there.
