My contribution for the upcoming international edition of Blend. It is based on a beautiful text by Ivo Victoria: “They say sometimes that she has my eyes. I’m proud of that. But of course, I’d rather have hers” that he wrote after visiting a museum with his small daughter Lola.

I was working on some pages for the upcoming international issue of Blend, based on the title of this post, making dream worlds from the perspective of my daughter Susa. And then I changed my mind and choose a different approach. Was not happy. The title is a translation from a

Het karakteristieke lange, voor ontwerpers ietwat onhandige formaat van de Zwaan-kalender is dit keer als uitgangspunt genomen. …,staat heeft besloten de lengte juist nog meer te benadrukken. Bij Zwaan printmedia is iedere maand even
